Paris is one of those towns that people fall in love with the moment they visit. Sitting where the Nith River meets the Grand River, it’s got the kind of charm you don’t find in most places. Cobblestone buildings line the downtown streets, local shops and restaurants fill the storefronts, and there’s a reason Harrowsmith Magazine once named it “the prettiest little town in Canada.”
With a population of around 15,000, Paris has grown steadily over the past decade. It’s about 15 minutes from Brantford, under 40 minutes from Hamilton, and a manageable commute to the GTA via Highway 403. Close enough to the city for work, far enough to feel like home.
Families appreciate the schools here. Grand Erie District School Board runs three elementary schools in town, including Cobblestone Elementary and Paris Central, plus Paris District High School for grades 9 through 12. There’s also new school construction underway to keep up with the growing population.
Paris is in Brant County, southwestern Ontario, about 15 minutes northwest of Brantford. It sits at the confluence of the Grand River and Nith River. By car, it’s roughly 100 km from Toronto, under 40 minutes from Hamilton, and about 30 minutes from Kitchener-Waterloo via Highway 403.
Paris offers a mix of historic Victorian homes, newer builds, and everything in between. Prices vary by neighbourhood and property type. Downtown attracts buyers who want walkability and character, while surrounding areas offer larger lots. Give us a call for current listings and market info
