More and more inventory hitting the MLS daily and a lower over asking sale price is the outcome
More importantly, zooming in on a look from March 2022 to April 2022 alone we are seeing a massive shift from month to month with inventory almost doubling in some regions and sale prices (still over asking) yet not as high. Some regions are seeing a large decline in the over asking bids that were 23% over asking in March and now 10% over asking in April.
We are projecting this to be a trend you’ll see through the busy spring market, making it somewhat easier on the buyers and not as much of a slam dunk for the sellers.
List price strategy is key when listing for sale and having a local, knowledgeable realtor in your corner as a buyer will make the difference of winning or losing the bid!
